Q: How is House & Home different from traditional design services?
A: At House & Home we pride ourselves on helping our clients realize their design vision. Our personal approach gives us the flexibility to help in designing everything from small spaces to entire homes and all sizes in between. Through virtual and in home services, everyone has access to our team of professionals, with no location restrictions.

Q: What is the House & Home design process
A: We’ve tried to make the process as simple as possible, while still getting to know you and your style, so we can create spaces you love. At the end of the day, our job is to make you happy. We’ve summed up our five steps below.

Step 1: Style Questionnaire
The first step in the process is to intake all of your likes and dislikes. Through a style questionnaire, you will answer a set of questions that help us identify what what you are looking to achieve. (i.e. your favorite decor styles, colors, metal finishes, the budget you have and the existing items we may or may not need to work into your space)
Step 2: Mood Board
What is a mood board? It sets the mood…let us explain. After taking into consideration your answers from the style questionnaire we put together a visual representation of the “vibe” that our team thinks would best fit your space. Anywhere from the type of furniture you would like, to colors and small details, like accessories, which complete the space. Pending the design package your purchased, we send you one of two of these and ask for your feedback. Your feedback helps us hone in on the final vision for your design.
Step 3: Concept Board
How is the concept board different than the mood board? Well great question, the concept board is personalized to your style and space, its YOUR concept. The pieces curated on this board you can shop and fit the dimensions of the space you provided. Part of Step 3 also includes a floor plan and shopping list, pending your package.
Step 4: Invoice Settlement
When we send you the concept board for approval, we also ask that you settle your account with us, so all payments have been made in full. From there, we finalize any small revisions and deliver your final design package.
Step 5: Final Design Package
This is our favorite part - we deliver the final design package that will bring our design partnership to life. Package includes: final concept board, floorplan, and shopping list. We recommend you start shopping right away, as everything we deliver is in stock, but our designers have great taste, so that’s not always the case for long.

Q: What information does my designer need from me?
A: Our designers will ask for basic information: budget, style, desired project completion date, and room specifications. The more information you give us, the better job we can do creating a space you love.

Q: Can the designer incorporate furniture/items I already have?
A: Absolutely. We’ll ask about those prized possessions at the beginning of the process, so we can ensure we incorporate them flawlessly.

Q: How will the designer know my style and what I like?
A: We receive a majority of a client’s personal design taste through our initial style questionnaire! Once that is completed we only require feedback from the client for the mood and concept boards created by our in house team! We of course, welcome you to share more throughout the process, however our goal is to make it as turnkey for you as possible.

Q: What is the maximum room size?
A: We design spaces anywhere between small nooks and corners to large rooms and open floor plans; below and above 500 sq. ft. We also have packages available incorporating multiple rooms if you’re looking to design the majority of your home.

Q: Can House & Home design commercial spaces?
A: Yes, of course. Our process if very similar, however we incorporate all commercial rules and regulations.

Q: Does House & Home also offer renovation services ?
A: Yes we do. We can renovate one room or your whole house if you want. Kitchens, bathrooms, anything you wish to do, we can help you make your dreams a reality. Yes, even virtually. All we would need from you is a good local contractor and we provide plans and designs & lots of support (even at a distance!)
